Company
alcostricot Holding S.r.l. designs and manufactures 100% Made in Italy outerwear knitwear, with the entire production cycle concentrated at its own facility.
Identity
The company is specialised exclusively in outerwear knitwear: sweaters, cardigans, tunics, knitted garments to be worn. A deliberate focus that concentrates technology, research and control on a single product field.
The relationship with client brands is built on confidentiality, continuity and development capability: every season brings new knit stitches and new constructions, born from in-house raw material research.
Made in Italy
Production takes place entirely at the Bulgarograsso facility, in the province of Como, in the historic Italian textile district.
Knitting, making-up, special techniques, treatments and quality control are all managed internally, with no scattered steps.
From the first idea to the finished garment the client deals with a single manufacturing reality, with clear lead times and clear responsibility.
Corporate film
The corporate film: yarns, knitting on electronic machines, making-up and finished garments.
In focus
For fashion brands alcostricot creates the product in full: from the design office sketch to the choice of fibres, from knitting to making-up, through to treatments and final control. The garment is developed to the client's specifications and remains exclusively theirs.
Quality
Quality is not a final inspection but a sequence of checks along the whole cycle: incoming yarn verification, monitoring of knitting, control of making-up and applied techniques, examination of the garment after treatments.
Processing standards are defined together with the client and remain traceable on the garment, season after season.
Treatments and environment
Treatments and washes are carried out to the highest standards of health and environmental protection: a requirement that concerns both those who make the garment and those who will wear it.
The same care guides yarn selection, mainly noble fibres, from technical polyester to cashmere and silk.
Traceability
The company is closely following the introduction of the European Digital Product Passport and is committed to making the materials and processes of its garments traceable.
An ongoing path, consistent with a fully in-house production cycle where every stage can be documented.
