MERIDIA is the knitwear brand of alcostricot Holding: outerwear knitwear in cashmere and noble fibres, designed and manufactured in Bulgarograsso, in the province of Como, Italy.
What MERIDIA is
One knitwear brand, three lines
MERIDIA brings together three outerwear knitwear lines that share the same language: the compass-rose mark, an ivory and gold palette, knit constructions developed in-house. Behind every piece stands the alcostricot Holding factory, the discreet manufacturing guarantee of the brand.
The collections are born where they are made: yarns selected at the spinning mill, stitches developed in-house, knitting on electronic machines covering gauges 3 to 18, making up, treatments and quality control in the same facility. It is the same production cycle as the private label knitwear service alcostricot runs for fashion brands.

Outerwear knitwear to wear over your swimwear, once you are already out of the water: light knit pieces made for summer, the boat and the sunlit hours.
MERIDIA Knitwear
The seasonal knitwear of the brand, with gauges from 3 to 18: from dense, textured stitches to fine knits, including the cable-knit cashmere capsules.
Raw materials
Cashmere and noble fibres
MERIDIA collections start from noble fibre yarns, cashmere first of all, chosen for count and handle before the stitch is developed. The knit is built around the yarn, not adapted to it afterwards.
Every piece is made in Italy, finished in-house: product traceability can be verified along the whole process, from the cone to the packed garment.
