One facility, one production cycle
All production takes place at our facility in the province of Como: knitting, making-up, special techniques, treatments and quality control are all managed in-house. One partner for the entire process, from the first idea to the finished garment.
The result is outerwear knitwear that combines raw material research, continuous development of new knit stitches and electronic knitting technology covering gauges from 3 to 18.

Private label is at the heart of alcostricot's business. The product is created in full, from the design office sketch to the choice of fibres, through making-up and final treatments. Every garment is developed to the client brand's specifications and remains entirely confidential.

Production cycle
Every step, in-house
Electronic knitting
Knitting on latest-generation electronic knitting machines, both short and wide, with gauges 3, 5, 7, 12, 14 and 18, from chunky constructions to the finest gauge.
Making-up and techniques
Fully fashioned and cut-and-sew garments, embroidered pieces, garments enriched with heat-applied materials.
Treatments and control
Treatments and washes carried out to the highest standards of health and environmental protection, followed by quality control on the finished garment.
Traceability
Commitment to the European DPP · Digital Product Passport, for a transparent description of each garment's materials and processes.
Export
Production lead times of 1 to 3 months from order confirmation, EX WORKS terms.
